How weather is influenced by earth features
Many of earth's features are influenced by both artificial and natural features it has. Natural disasters such as tornadoes, hurricanes, and thunderstorms can all be greatly influenced.
Tornadoes:
Tornadoes have one big natural influence that the earth has and effects tornadoes. Mountain ranges are huge impacts on tornadoes that happen. When there are more mountains around tornadoes are formed because there is a higher elevation that has more stable and cooler air. That means that where there are less mountains that there is more of a chance for a tornado to happen because air isn't as stable and can collide creating a tornado. For example, the Rocky Mountains are a huge mountain range that reaches across the U.S and some parts of Canada , tornadoes don't usually occur west to the mountains but in the east direction they are more frequent. That is why tornado alley gets more tornadoes because there aren't as much mountain ranges in that area. This is how mountain ranges can influence tornadoes.

Hurricanes:
Hurricanes can also be influenced by a natural causes in the ocean. In the ocean the currents can have a very big impact. When the friction in the water and the currents mix they are able to cause hurricanes. Also its when the cold and warm water can move in the ocean. Plus the surface temperatures can effect the water in the ocean and be able to heat the water. This is a natural cause can create a hurricane.

Thunderstorms:
Thunderstorms are more affected by the artificial features the earth has. For instance, where there is lots of air pollution it can create more clouds that hold more electricity. They also begin to happen more in populated areas because with more people the temperatures will change. Thunderstorms tend to also hit in the center cities because more people usually live there. This is how artificial features can affect thunderstorms.
